I was the sole technologist on this temporary installation supporting artist Nicole Banowetz. The inflatable sculpture is based on algae and was presented at the 2019 Canal Convergence Water+Art+Light Festival in Scottsdale, Arizona. Over 10,000 people experienced the piece over the course of the 10-day festival. This project utilized 13 microcontrollers (ESP32 and ESP8266), 15 strips of NeoPixel LEDs, 9 capacitive touch points, and two WiFi networks across three sites.
